Feb 11, 2009В В· I use the Tamron 1.4X, it works well with my 50-135 with the high speed focus, where the Kenko 1.5 did not. I am very satisfied with the Tamron Teleconverter. I use it all the time with my Tamron 90mm macro lens. I have been testing the 1.4 with my Pentax 16-50mm. lens. It allows me to extend the tange and still have a fairly fast lens. Note: Sigma APO Tele Converter 1.4x and 2x are dedicated teleconverter lenses. Due to the high optical quality of this teleconverter, this item will only fit and work with a select list of lenses. Please refer to the Sigma Teleconverter compatibility chart in the Resources tab for compatibility.

This Soligor 2x converter is similar of the earlier version of Kenko converter. I use this converter mainly with my canon 200f2.8L usm lens.I tried on a canon 50/1.8 as well, the results unlike with the Kenko 1.4 dgx are very bad. Usually the converters works best with prime telephoto lenses.
