I saw Iron Man 3D in the cinema, in 3D, can't say I was impressed with the 3D. Any fast motion looked blurred, leading to you not being able to follow the action on screen. I bought the 3D Blu-ray (I haven't got a 3D TV, but one day), and watched the 2D version, this I enjoyed more. Don't think its the best in the trilogy, but not the worst. Iron Man 3 suits up with an excellent and largely satisfying HEVC H.265 encode that delivers a great step-up over the Blu-ray. It's not leaps and bounds superior, but this 2160p transfer, upscaled from a 2K digital intermediate, shows slightly sharper definition, exposing the minute battle scars and scratches in the Iron Man …
